The Beatitude Scholarship Fund (TBSF) is committed to maintaining a fair and unbiased job reference process. This policy aims to establish clear guidelines to ensure the reliability and integrity of references provided for candidates seeking opportunities within our organization.
Guidelines:
- Professional References Only:
- Only individuals who have held a professional relationship with the candidate, such as previous or current supervisors, lecturers, or individuals under whom the candidate has officially worked, are eligible to provide references.
- Exclusion of Friends and Family:
- Friends and family members are not permitted to submit references for candidates. This policy is in place to maintain objectivity and ensure impartial evaluations.
- Reference Authentication:
- TBSF may contact the provided references to authenticate the information provided. Candidates are encouraged to inform their references in advance.
- Confidentiality:
- The information gathered through the reference process is treated with the utmost confidentiality. It is solely utilized for employment-related decisions and is not disclosed to unauthorized individuals.
- Accuracy and Truthfulness:
- References must provide accurate and truthful information about the candidate’s qualifications and work-related attributes. Misrepresentation of information may lead to disqualification.
- Professionalism in Communication:
- All communication related to job references should be conducted professionally and respectfully. TBSF reserves the right to disregard references that do not adhere to professional communication standards.
Acknowledgment: By submitting a job reference, both the reference provider and the candidate acknowledge and agree to comply with the outlined policies and guidelines.
