Duties Duties: As an Academic Advisor, my role is to guide students through their academic journey, assisting with course selection, academic planning, and tracking their progress to ensure success. I provide valuable advice on balancing academic responsibilities with personal and extracurricular commitments, offering insights into institutional policies and available resources. I work closely with students to ensure they meet scholarship requirements, addressing any queries related to it. Additionally, I help students with career planning, internships, and skill-building opportunities to enhance their job readiness.
I also play a key role in maintaining academic records and implementing intervention strategies for students facing challenges. My goal is to help at-risk students stay on track and succeed academically. I collaborate with other departments to offer comprehensive support to our students, ensuring they have access to all the resources and assistance they need.
Part of my responsibilities also includes traveling to visit university students to assess their academic progress and personal well-being. During these visits, I provide guidance, offer support, and address any concerns to ensure that students are thriving both academically and personally.
